After the war, Renn's cartoons were published in
The Australasian /
The Australasian Post (the name was changed in 1946). From the various references to 'competition entry' on the drawings he had collected, it appears these cartoons were mostly featured in the magazines as winning entries in a regular cartooning competition. A rather colourful and energetic cartoon also graced the front cover of the 'Grand National' edition of the
Post in July 1946.
